Mailing FAQ

Can you mail my cards directly to my recipients?
We can mail your cards in one of two ways:
  1. Directly to you: Under this option you can choose the following:
    • Leave the envelopes blank so you can address them yourself (stamps not included)
    • OR
    • Have us print the envelopes for you with the recipients' addresses and apply first class stamps (American flag design). Your envelopes will be all ready to go!
  2. Directly to your recipient, either right away (next business day) or on any future date of your choice
With either option, we can't ship FedEx Overnight, 2nd day or 3rd day to P.O. Boxes, APO/FPO addresses or U.S. Protectorates (including Guam and the U.S. Virgin Islands).

Boxed card delivery is available Monday-Friday. Saturday delivery is not included under our standard shipping policies or prices, but can be purchased upon request
International customers: We can mail cards directly to recipients only if the recipient is in the United States. If you choose to have cards shipped to you, you can choose only blank envelopes (in other words, we can't apply foreign postage to envelopes). We can't ship FedEx Overnight, 2nd day or 3rd day to international destinations.

I want to create an Address Book. Do I have to enter all my contact info manually?
That's one way to do it, but the easiest way is to upload your contact database by clicking on the "Upload Contact List" button. There you will receive step by step instructions on how to upload your contact database directly into your Account. When you add new names to your Address Book, remember that accuracy is of vital importance. We can only send cards to the address in your Address Book
How do I check the accuracy of the names in my Address Book?
Just go to your Address Book and verify them for accuracy. You can make any changes necessary to keep things up to date. Remember, you are responsible for the accuracy of your mailing list.
What different methods are there of shipping my cards?
There are several methods, including:
  • USPS: This is the default method for shipping individual cards. Using this method of delivery, cards usually take 4-7 business days for most U.S. destinations
  • Overnight: We use either FedEx or UPS for overnight delivery. Your recipient will receive their card the next business day
  • 2nd Day: We use either FedEx or UPS for 2nd day delivery. Your recipient will receive their card in 2 business days.
  • 3rd Day: We use either FedEx or UPS for 3rd day delivery. Recipients will generally get their cards in 3 business days.
Important Notices:
  • FedEx or UPS overnight, 2nd day or 3rd day packages cannot be sent to international destinations, P.O. Boxes, APO/FPO addresses, or United States protectorates such as Guam or the U.S. Virgin Islands.
  • YourCardsToGo.com reserves the right to use carriers other than those listed above
  • Order delivery times are estimates and are strictly under the control of the shipping companies. YourCardsToGo.com assumes no responsibility for late shipments.
  • Saturday delivery is not available
  • During busy times, such as the holiday season, YourCardsToGo.com makes every effort to get your packages out during the prescribed time frame, but cannot guarantee this.
  • Shipping and mailing prices are subject to change without prior notice.
  • If you have special needs, please speak with one of our Card Counselors who will do everything possible to make your experience with YourCardsToGo.com a great one.
What is the deadline for getting my card mailed the next business day?
The deadline is 11:59 p.m. Mountain Time Zone (GMT -6), Monday thru Thursday. If you order after 11:59 p.m. on Thursday but before 11:59 PM on Sunday, your card will be printed and shipped the following Monday (excluding holidays).
What if I want to schedule cards for future delivery?
We has a very helpful scheduling tool that lets you schedule card deliveries on important dates for up to one year in advance. Just fill out your calendar, and we'll handle the rest!
How can I track the progress of my card order?
We will send you an email notification when your order is shipped. If you've scheduled cards for future delivery, we'll notify you by email when those cards are shipped.
What if I don't receive a confirmation email telling me that my order has been shipped?
Sometimes our confirmation emails can be inadvertently blocked because of spam blocking software. Before placing a second order, please check your order history. If your card shows up in your order history, it has been sent. Or you can always call your Card Counselor for confirmation of order delivery.
What do you do with my recipients' addresses once I've sent them a card?
Good question. They will stay in your address book so you can use them for future mailings. We don't use your addresses for any other purpose (see our Privacy Policy). If you ever believe your recipients' names have been used for a reason other than those outlined in our Privacy Policy, please call your Card Counselor for help.
Can my cards be mailed overseas?
Yes; however a few restrictions apply. We can mail cards directly to recipients only if the recipient is in the United States. If you choose to have cards shipped to you, you can choose only blank envelopes (in other words, we can't apply foreign postage to envelopes). Finally, we can't ship FedEx Overnight, 2nd day or 3rd day to international destinations.
Do you use mailing labels on the outside of envelopes?
Maybe some of our competitors do, but we never do. Your envelope will look like you took the time to hand-print it in a font and color you find most attractive. When your recipient receives a card from you, it will look like you spent a lot of time at a card store to get just the right card and envelope.
What about postage meter marks?
Again, maybe some of our competitors do, but not us: we use only real, first class stamps (American flag design).
What about bulk rate pricing?
Some of our competitors may try this trick, but we won't. We use only real, first class stamps on all your envelopes AND your post cards.
Can I have you put postage stamps on postcards then box them up and send them to me?
No, if we send boxes of postcards to you, they will come without postage. If we mail them directly to your recipients, they will be shipped with first class postage stamps.
